Showcased here are some of the ways that the Walker School Pre-School uses technology in its curriculum.

The Preschool uses SRA/McGraw Hill's curriculum Techknowledge in it's computer lab to introduce students to a variety of technology concepts including keyboarding, word processing, spreedsheets and databases.

Students use Google Earth technology during the Kindergarten unit on community to locate their home address on the map.

On November 4th, students cast their ballot using laptops with the Promethean Board software. Students clicked on and dragged either an image of Clifford or Cat in the Hat into the ballot box at the bottom of the page.

In library and in the classroom, students are enjoying e-books using Bookflix from Scholastic. This software provides both fiction and nonfiction offerings.
